Rogue River Estuary Wildlife Viewing Kayak Tour

The mighty Wild and Scenic Rogue River and it’s estuary has a bunch of cool things to check out as well an abundance of birds and marine mammals to observe. The Mary D. Hume historic boat is beached in the boat basin near all of the other fishing vessels that are tied up to the docks. Further up the river the scenery changes to a more natural setting in the sloughs and off channels that are favorite places for Belted Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, Osprey, Eagles and many types of waterfowl. Total distance is about 5.5 miles for the estuary tour.
